- The First Asian Football Awards is being held tonight at Wembley Stadium. There is a strong QPR component. Among the nominees are with a QPR connection are:

- Lakshmi Mittal and Tony Fernandes (QPR) in the "Investors in Football" Category

- QPR - Player Development Centre (West London) nominees in the "Football Development project of the year" category.

- QPR's Sangi Patel is one of the nominees for "Woman Footballer of the Year."

- Sangi Patel (Physio) is also nominated in the "Football behind the scenes award - 'Medical'

- Former QPR Player, Zesh Rehman is one of the Nominees for Asian Footballer of the year. Rehman's Zesh Rehman Foundation
is also nominated for Football Foundation of the year
